StampinUp!® OnStage & Why Paper-Crafting

Thousands of women in places like Minneapolis, Charlotte, Quebec City, Dusseldorf, Munich, Paris, and Tokyo, plus several other cities, gathered two weeks ago for an event called "OnStage."   OnStage is held twice a year, by a company called StampinUp©.  But, it's more than just a crafting event.  For some of the women who attend, paper crafting is a hobby, something to do as a distraction when tensions rise.  For others, it's a business.  And, in case you're chuckling, under your breath, several women who attended, have sold over $1,000,000 worth of product and have teams of both men and women. Yes -- it's hard to believe, women and some men, are living in a creative space with stamps, ink, and paper....

Card Crafters - Feathers & Frost Plus a Must-Have from Stampin'Up!®

A timeless stamp set.  Although this stamp set is in the Holiday Catalog, I believe that it is timeless.  This card is 3" x 3", a perfect size for a gift enclosure.  For any of you who visit my website and make a purchase, I enclose a small blank gift card.  These change.  It will always be a surprise.    Note that I used the Stampin Blends™ for this card.  For this card, I used Shaded Spruce and Real Red with Shaded Spruce paper; however, I also did some using Old Olive.  It's amazing how different color combinations change the whole feel of the card.  ­ Sometimes it's just fun to give someone an appreciative note.  I absolutely love extending a small...
